Collaboration is a huge part of working at The Galloway School.
The Theatre Team works together on all the productions so we are able to have a collaborative work environment.
Collaborations takes place on a daily basis for us! Every production this year was a collaboration.
The picture below shows what I found to be the most rewarding example of collaboration this school year. For the ML Musical, the UL tech crew had the opportunity to design and tech the show. I heard numerous times from both age groups that the collaboration between middle and upper was the best part of this production!!

Working on the Spring Musical was the perfect example of how Galloway Performing Arts Teachers collaborate. We had a live band composed of students and faculty, our dance ensemble performed with our cast, our tech crew and designers....
"Over 60 Upper Learning students, (and 2 Middle Learning students!), and over 10 faculty are involved in making this happen. You have a 20-page program because so many human beings have contributed -- with their bodies and minds and talents -- to this show."

I also had the opportunity to help Sally Cramer, Galloway's Dance Director, at the KSU Dance Festival.
Being a part of this incredible high school dance festival was so fantastic!

Sixth grade English teacher, Paul Munro, asked me to collaborate with him on his Spoken Word Project.
He had them create amazing poetry pieces and I worked with them on how to present them.
What a cool experience!
